Europe Triathlon

Back in 2019 the Europe Triathlon Board decided to assign the European Triathlon Youth Championships 2020 to Alanya and the 2021 edition to Zagreb. Due to the covid pandemic both events have moved by 1 year and in 2021 we had a great Europe Triathlon Youth Championships in Alanya, which was also the celebration of their 30 edition of an international event in Alanya. Due to complications associated with moving the Zagreb edition to 2022 the Croatian Federation decided to give back the organisation of the 2022 Youth Championships to Europe Triathlon. The Europe Triathlon Board started negotiations with potential organisers to take over the event and is happy to announce that the 2022 Europe Triathlon Youth Championships will take place in La Baule, France from 15 till 18 September.

La Baule-Escoublac is a French commune located in the Loire-Atlantique department in the Pays de la Loire region. It is a well-known seaside resort.

As a consequence to this new date the Europe Triathlon Junior Cup Izvorani (Romania) moved from 17-18 September to 27-28 August.
