Europe Triathlon Executive Board Holds First Meeting Following AGA Elections
Strong collaboration with World Triathlon and a clear roadmap ahead
On 9 April 2025, the newly elected Executive Board of Europe Triathlon convened for its first official Board meeting. Held online, this session marked the beginning of a new term focused on progress, inclusivity, and collaboration across the European triathlon landscape.
In a strong demonstration of international cooperation, World Triathlon President Marisol Casado and President-Elect Antonio Arimany joined the meeting. Their participation underscores the close relationship between World Triathlon and Europe Triathlon as they continue to work together in support of the sport’s growth and development.

Women’s Committee – Co-Option of Male Members
In the interest of gender balance and inclusivity, the following male members were co-opted into the Women’s Committee:

- Onno Van der Erve (France)
Event Representation:
Executive Board representatives were assigned to all events on the 2025 Europe Triathlon calendar, ensuring ongoing support for our LOCs, engagement, and leadership throughout the season.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for the newly elected Board to meet the Europe Triathlon staff, who shared their roles and activities in the organisation. This reinforced the collaborative spirit at the heart of Europe Triathlon’s operations.
