Europe Triathlon seeks a new Development Coordinator

Help shape the future of triathlon development across Europe.

Europe Triathlon is seeking an experienced and motivated Development Coordinator to coordinate and drive the implementation of our Development Strategy for the 2025–2028 Olympic cycle.

Working closely with the Europe Triathlon Executive Board, Development Committee, staff, World Triathlon and our 49 National Federations, the Development Manager will play a central role in supporting the continued growth and development of triathlon and its affiliated disciplines across Europe.

The role:

The Development Coordinator will coordinate and oversee development projects at both European and National Federation level, ensuring they are aligned with Europe Triathlon’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the implementation of Europe Triathlon’s Development Strategy and projects.

  • Supporting National Federations with their development programmes and initiatives.

  • Monitoring project progress, budgets and outcomes.

  • Managing and supporting the Europe Triathlon Development Committee.

  • Ensuring National Federations have timely and equal access to development opportunities and information.

  • Contributing to development activities in the field, including athlete, coach and technical official workshops and camps.

  • Preparing regular reports on development activities and progress.

  • Working closely with World Triathlon and other key stakeholders to strengthen development across Europe.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an organised, proactive and collaborative professional with experience in sports development and project management.

Experience within a National Federation, International Federation or similar sporting environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of triathlon and its affiliated disciplines, as well as experience working across different cultures and sporting environments, would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively.

Position details

Position: Development Coordinator
Location: Home-based, with reasonable travel
Contract: Service Agreement – 20 hours per week (half-time)
Reports to: Europe Triathlon President/CEO
Start date: As soon as possible
