Two major European triathlon events delivered exciting racing over the weekend.
At the Europe Triathlon Challenge Long Distance Championships in Almere-Amsterdam, Great Britain dominated both elite categories. William Draper claimed the men’s title ahead of local favourite Tristan Olij (NED) and fellow Brit William Grace. In the women’s race Daisy Davies (GBR) took a convincing win, with Els Visser (NED) second and Marta Lagownik (POL) third.

Age Group results also helped Great Britain extend its lead in the Age Group Nations League, strengthening its position ahead of Poland and Spain in the overall standings.
Meanwhile, at the Europe Triathlon Youth Championships in Kitzbühel, future stars battled over short formats. France took a double podium in the young men’s race with Antonin Mathieu winning ahead of Quentin Bauer; Lucas Gorrill (GBR) finished third. In the young women’s race, Anouk Danna (SUI) struck gold, followed by Léa Reviglio (FRA)and fellow Swiss Kimey Casanova (SUI). The mixed relay also showcased team and nations depth with up and rising talent: Switzerland triumphed ahead of France and Spain.
These results underlined Britain’s power over long distances and Switzerland’s strong new generation in youth triathlon!
