Tradition should always be respected as they help every community to grow and become more cohesive. This is why World Triathlon desires strongly to honor women in triathlon. Europe Triathlon is very pleased to announce that World Triathlon has opened the application process for the 2021 award of excellence.
This year’s Award of Excellence (AOE) presentation is planned to take place at the World Triathlon Congress in Edmonton, Canada.
All the National Federations are encouraged to nominate an individual or organisation that has made a significant and meaningful contribution to women’s involvement at all levels of the sport of triathlon and para triathlon.
Nominations will be evaluated by the AOE selection committee including an external peer review panel that will carefully weigh each nominees’ relevant awards and honours, accomplishments in advancing women in triathlon, and the nominator’s endorsement of the individual or organisation.
We encourage all to review the nomination form and the award criteria which will help ensure your nominee’s achievements and contributions are presented effectively.  Completed nomination forms should be submitted to womensaward@triathlon.org by Friday, 14th May, 2021 (midnight CEST).
