Holten European Premium Cup and Junior Cup Cancellation

The Premium European Cup due to take place in Holten the first weekend of July has been cancelled.

It is with regret that we confirm that the historic Premium European Cup in Holten is cancelled. The Organising Committee has arrived at this decision due to the uncertainties  that still exist regarding the restrictions of the pandemic and the risk of holding an event.

Europe Triathlon President Renato Bertrandi said “The Elite and Junior European Cups have always taken place embedded into a great popular Triathlon event that involves thousands of Age Groupers and all the local community is heavily involved in a great party.

The restrictions sadly would have changed the spirit of the Event. Whilst it is very sad, we respect the decision of the LOC to cancel the event.”

Olsztyn

At the request of the LOC the confirmation of this event has been delayed for 3 weeks until the 23rd April 2021. We will have an announcement by Monday 26 at the latest and in the meantime Athletes and Federations are advised to only book travel and accommodation after this announcement.

Baltic Championships - Event Change

The Baltic Championships originally scheduled to take place in Minsk will now take place in Estonia for the 25th July. Full venue and location details to be confirmed in due course.

Europe Triathlon is continuously monitoring the situation around Europe with the Pandemic. All other events that we have in the calendar are at present confirmed and with all the counter-measures included into the covid protocol, we are very confident that our LOCs can provide safe races for our Athletes.
