The Echternach European Cup Triathlon ended with a usual success. The elite races were won by Henly Carmel from New Zealand and Matt Murphy from Australia. The best Europeans were the Swiss Sybille Matter and Andrew Fargus from Great Britain.
The third round of the Junior European Cup was also held in Luxembourg and won by Maaike Caelers from the Netherlands and the home favourite from Luxembourg, Yannick Lieners.
