BARCIS UPDATE: Stefania Bonazzi LD World Championship Testimonial

The parade of all the athletes which will partecipate in the next Long Distance Duathlon World Championship of Barcis, is enriched with further celebrity, after already declaired presence of Alessandro Alessandri. Indeed Stefania Bonazzi, the real star of many different sports (one of which is duathlon, certanly) will also join the group at the starting line of Valcellinas competition. The Italian athlete acting for Silca Ultralite of Vittorio Veneto has assembled a considerable record of achievements that made her fame spread beyond the national fronteer. In her collection its possible to find a silver medal conquered in 2002 during the Winter World Championship for teams of Winter Triathlon and the World Cup final of the same sport (it consists of run lap, nordic skiing lap and mountain bike lap) theyear after. In 2004 she won the Italian National Championship repeating the victory also this year. She excells as in Long Distance as in Sprint distances. She won bronze medal at he World Championship for teams in 2002 and, the same year, she triumphed at the Powerman Italia, that is a lap of the World Powerman, equivalent of Ironman for duathlon. Stefania Bonazzi, born in Ferrara in 1969, has accepted with enthusiasm the invitation of ACC Triathlon Team Cordenons, organizing society and its president Antonio Iossa, so she will partecipateto the World Championship taking place in Barcis. Stefania Bonazzi has already vsited this location, with its course and beautifull natural environment, on ocasion of the World Cup of Long Distance Triathlon 2004. She arrived 2nd in the competition of 2004 right after the champion Tamara Kozulina Ukrainian athlete she made an exciting run neck to neck with. This year she will represent agreat favourite of the race, determined to fight a battle along the course that is already familiar for her.
