Europe Triathlon

We are happy to announce that the Europe Triathlon and Junior Cup in Tiszaújváros has been finally confirmed. The event is due to take place on the 17th and 18th of July. On Saturday there will be the semi-finals for the élite that will race in a sprint distance and juniors instead in a super sprint distance. On Sunday, the finals will be held with the same distances both for the élite and juniors. Tibor Lehmann who is part of the LOC said “the series of international triathlon events will continue in 2021. Last year‘s event had to be canceled due to the pandemic. The town has been hosting international triathlon events since 1997. The town has been hosting many international triathlon races and this time it will be a European Triathlon Cup and Junior Cup. We are looking forward to seeing the athletes and teams for this unforgettable event!”.
