This weekend on Sunday 20 September 2020, the ETU Junior European Cup will be taking place. This promise for some exciting racing. The schedule looks as follows:

At 10:50 the male athletes will start their race followed by the female athletes at 11:30. There are 29 male athletes with seven countries represented while there are 32 female athletes with six countries represented. There are two male athletes Anatoli Bukavets and Itmar Shevach Levanon that will start the event tomorrow that is also currently participating in the Next Generation Challenge. Anatoli Bukavets is currently in the third position and Itmar Shevach in 18th position in the challenge.

The images below shows all the courses for the weekend; the swimming, cycling and running course.
The expected water temperature is between 19 and 22 degrees celcius. Athletes will swim one lap of 400m.
This is followed by one lap of cycling on the Motor way as shown below. This is a flat asphalt surface and not a technical route which will most likely result in a high pace.
The athletes will then go on to run two two laps of 1250m each. This too will be done on a flat asphalt road. The athletes will have the opportunity to collect some water at the beginning of each run lap but can enjoy a wider range of drinks and snacks in the finish area.
