2015 Horst ETU Powerman Long Distance and Sprint Duathlon European Championships

• Sprint Duathlon European Championships (Elite, U23)

For over 20 years now Powerman Duathlon has been a great favourite in the Netherlands. Indeed this small country is the home to this brand, which has seen greater and greater participation over recent years.
ETU has been working in partnership with Powerman for a number of years now and each year we have seen medals fought for over the Long Distance and Sprint Distance.

This year a change to the run course has been made but it will still be a firm favourite for athletes from all over Europe. So easy to get to and with great accommodation available locally.

Saturday 11 April
12:00 – Pre-race check-in open (Parkhotel Horst)
13:00 – RACE BRIEFING for Elite / U23, Long and Sprint Distance (Parkhotel Horst)
15:00 – Opening Ceremony and race briefing (Age-Groups / Para / Open)
18:00 - Pasta Party

Sunday 12 April for Long Distance Duathlon
07:30-09.00 check-in bikes and helmets
09:00 Start ETU Powerman EC (Elite Women)
09:05 Start ETU Powerman EC (Age-Group Women and Men Age-Groups 55+)
09:18 Start ETU Powerman EC (Elite Men)
09:30 Start ETU Powerman EC (other Age-Group Men + Paraduathletes)
09:35 Start Open Powerman
12:15 Public awards ceremony, 1 – 3 Women / Men
16:00 Bike check-out closes
17:00 Official awards ceremony all categories

Sunday 12 April for Sprint Distance Duathlon
10:30-13:00 check-in bikes and helmets
13:20 Start ETU SD EC (Elite + U23 men, drafting)
13:25 Start ETU SD EC (Elite + U23 women, drafting)
14:25 Start Open Race (non-drafting)
16:30 Public awards ceremony Elite / U23 1 – 3 Men / Women
16:15–17:30 Bike check-out
17:00 Official awards ceremony all categories
