Welcome to the heart-pounding journey that is about to start…the 2024 Europe Triathlon season! As we gear up for an action-packed year, we invite you to join us around Europe, where adrenaline, competition, and camaraderie come together to create moments that will go down in triathlon history.

Our journey commences on the 5th of May in Alsdorf, Germany, with the Europe Triathlon Middle Distance Duathlon Championships. Elite, age-group, and para-athletes will set the stage, showcasing their prowess in a unique duathlon format. The anticipation is palpable as competitors vie for glory and personal achievement, and the finish line will witness the first triumphant stars of the season.

As the echoes of Alsdorf linger, the show moves to the charming city of Coimbra, Portugal. From June 15th to 22nd, Coimbra will host the 2024 Europe Triathlon Multisport Championships, a celebration of versatility in triathlon disciplines. Coimbra is not merely a venue; it is a character in this multisport narrative. Athletes will weave through the city’s historic streets, propelled by the cheers of spectators lining the course. This multisport extravaganza is not just about competition; it’s a cultural immersion. Coimbra’s charm, with its ancient university, breathtaking architecture, and vibrant culture, will infuse the event with an atmosphere unlike any other. Athletes and spectators alike will find themselves immersed in the unique spirit of this Portuguese gem.

Beyond Coimbra, the journey unfolds with the Europe Triathlon Youth Championships Festival in Panevėžys, Lithuania, the Sprint & Relay Championships in Balikesir, Turkey, and the Mixed Relay Club Championships in Banyoles, Spain. Further in the season will be the Challenge Long Distance Championships in Almere, Netherlands, promising a day filled with triumphs and unforgettable moments.

One standout gem promises to be the 2024 Europe Triathlon Championships in Vichy, France, on September 21st and 22nd. It’s not just another event; it’s the athletes’ chance at redemption following the Paris Olympics. The scenic backdrop of Vichy sets the stage for a captivating closing chapter in the season. Athletes will come prepared to become stars, eager to showcase their skills and make a statement in the wake of the Olympic challenge. The air in Vichy will be filled with anticipation as competitors strive for personal triumphs and the chance to etch their names in the post-Olympic narrative. It’s more than a championship; it’s a moment of reckoning, and Vichy stands ready to witness the revenge of the Paris Olympics on the Europe Triathlon stage. For age-group participants, Vichy becomes the arena where personal triumphs unfold, and dreams of representing one’s nation are realised. Each competitor, regardless of age, has their own story to tell—a narrative of dedication, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence.
