A more sustainable calendar
For 2026, Europe Triathlon is working towards a more sustainable competition model by creating race clusters that reduce travel demands for athletes, teams, and staff.
These clusters include:
-
Quarteira – Montegordo (Portugal)
-
Olsztyn – Rzeszów (Poland)
-
Kitzbühel – Wels (Austria)
-
Moletai – Riga (Baltic region)
-
Zagreb – Bled (Balkan region)
-
Ceuta – Tenerife (Spain)
By grouping back-to-back events within the same country or region, the calendar aims to lower logistical impact, support smarter team planning, and offer athletes the chance to race twice in one competitive trip.
Europe Triathlon looks forward to an outstanding 2026 season of Europe Triathlon Cup and Europe Triathlon Junior Cup racing, and to welcoming athletes, coaches, and supporters across the continent.
