The 2014 European U23 and Youth Championships will be held in Penza, Russia for the first time.

Having debuted on the ETU calendar just two years ago in a European Cup, Penza continues to grow in stature as a triathlon event and this groundbreaking venture will see the cream of European athletes compete on Russian soil.

Zoya Yarosh, General Secretary of the Russian Federation, said: “It is with absolute pleasure that the Russian Triathlon Federation (RTF) invites all athletes and coaches to the U23/Youth Championships in Penza from 26th-29th June 2014.

“Since 2011, the local organising committee in Penza has held European Cup events to the highest standard and now we have the opportunity and potential to grow this competition and venue. We will do everything possible to ensure an excellent competition for all athletes and we look forward to welcoming everyone to Penza.”

The ETU European U23 and Youth Triathlon Championships will be held between June 26th-29th 2014.
